About Us
Peeling trim, faded siding, and rooms that never feel clean can drag down your home and invite bigger problems like wood rot or roof leaks. Canterbury House Painters in Christchurch fixes that with careful prep and durable coatings as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter.
Our team has many years of hands on painting under real jobsite conditions and we’re fully insured for your peace of mind. We follow paint maker directions, use lead safe methods for homes built before 1978, and we’re relentless about prep and clean daily progress that most quick paint crews skip.
You get exact pricing, a set start date, daily updates, and a clean jobsite you don’t need to tiptoe around. We use low odour and low volatile organic compound paints, carry full insurance, protect floors and landscaping, offer colour help that fits your light and finishes, and back it all with a solid workmanship warranty.
Our interior house painter service covers drywall repair, texture and patch work, stain blocking for water and tannins, caulking, trim and cabinet finishes, and crisp lines that do not bleed, and this stops common issues like flashing, scuffs that won’t wash, and stains that creep back. Our exterior house painter service includes washing, mildew treatment, scraping and sanding to a sound edge, epoxy or wood filler repairs, gap caulking, bonding primers on chalky siding, spray and back roll for even build, and weather checks so paint cures right, because rushing or painting near the dew point leads to early peeling and lap marks, while our roof painter work focuses on proper substrates like metal and concrete tile with elastomeric or acrylic coatings, never on asphalt shingles that can trap moisture and void a roof warranty, and we use safety lines and anchors and only coat in dry weather between about fifty and ninety degrees with a falling dew point to avoid blistering.
