About Us
Flaking paint, hairline cracks, and water stains don’t just look bad, they let moisture in and set up peeling and leaks later. At Canterbury House Painters, we stop that cycle with careful prep, the right primers, and durable finishes as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter in Christchurch.
We have a steady crew that follows a proven method that starts with washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, spot priming, and a true two coat finish with back rolling where it is needed. We use top grade primers and paints that match your surfaces and the local weather, and we avoid the shortcuts that cause flashing, lap marks, peeling, and early failure.
You get a clear written quote, steady updates, and a schedule we keep, plus smart colour help and the right products for your goals and budget. We show up on time, protect your home like it is ours, and do a final walk through with you so you feel confident before we pack up.
We paint interiors with low odour paints that cure hard, cover stains, and clean well, and we handle walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets with smooth lines and tight caulk. For exteriors and roofs we wash, repair, and prime, then brush, roll, and spray as needed using weather rated coatings that shield against sun and rain, and we guide you on repaint cycles like about five to seven years inside, about seven to ten years outside, and about eight to twelve years on roof coatings so your home stays protected and your energy use can drop with cool roof finishes.
